Charlie: Reflections of Myself

Paint and canvas are Charlie's only friends. He obsesses over becoming a better version of himself. Tracking his progress by only painting self-portraits. Charlie believes painting himself over and over will allow him to fully understand himself and correct his flaws. Although, Charlie's obsession consumes all of his time and has become his greatest shortcoming.

Charlie was the first animal I made using wool felt. I used old shirts and socks to create his outfit. I learned how to knit to create his little scarf and destroyed a small leather backpack to create his satchel.

The character is intelligent and highly structured. Charlie is a very anxious little owl who needs every aspect of his life to be perfect. His obsessiveness and need for control is the very thing that throws off his plans.

It does not matter how much he may plan because, in the end, his future can't be controlled by datebooks and planners.
